6/30 Cotton (sold)

Here's 6/30 in the challenge. It's 5x7 watercolor on clayboard. This clayboard is forcing me to be less detailed and more abstract. I'm having fun with it. I have two more pieces and then I'll be back to my regular paper for a while.

Paintings 3 and 4 of the 30 in 30 Challenge

I'm running a little behind, but still doing better than I did in the last challenge! :-)

This is Busy Bee, 6x6, watercolor on clayboard. $45 unframed. I like how it looks from a distance. Close up it looks fragmented, but when you step away a few steps suddenly it's almost 3D! I like it.

I'm still frustrated with the Blogpress app. I can't figure out a way to add html with an ipad app. Oh, well!

Day 2/30: "His Highness"

I love this rooster's puffed up chest! His comb reminds me of a crown, so his name immediately became "His Highness". This is painted with watercolor on a 6"x6" Clayboard panel.

First painting in the 30 day challenge

I've got the first painting done in Leslie Saeta's 30 paintings in 30 days challenge. :-) I LOVE roosters and they are fun to paint.
Any ideas for a name for him?
